Wrexham Painting Prize 2026 - Applications Now Open
The second Wrexham Painting Prize, in close association with the Open Institute, is now open for applications. The prize aims to highlight innovation and experimentation within the medium. Shortlisted artists will have their work exhibited in an exhibition at the Open Institute. The winners will be selected by a panel of professionals that will be announced in the coming weeks.

Serious Play
Our Serious Play programme is now underway: a series of practical, hands-on workshops built around experimentation, making and play.
No experience needed and no pressure to make something “perfect” — these sessions are about trying things out, learning new processes and seeing where they take you.
